Saturday, September 18
Amber Falls Winery -- 4 - 7:30pm. Ok, admittedly for you Nashvillians this might be a bit of a trek. But imagine, a scenic drive down the Natchez Trace on a late Octobter afternoon. Weave through the hills to arrive at Amber Falls Winery, which is well marked along the way, and settle in to its new, pristine setting. Open a bottle of fine, fine wine and enjoy the sound of the vibraphone wafting through the trees. We'll be playing our usual jazz standards with just a bit of kick as well as African music jazzed up. In this fabulous setting, the gyil (African xylophone) at the winery will definitely take you to Africa if you allow it! Amber Falls is located at 794 Ridgetop Road in Hampshire, TN 38461-5002. The phone is (931) 285-0088. Or visit the website at www.amberfallswinery.com. This would be a cool way to spend an early autumn evening . . . .
